Off the beaten path, but the new owner doesn't have to worry about feeling completely deserted as there are two neighbors not too far away. Incredible views of the Sangre de Cristos lie to the East, and the iconic Mount Blanca is to the North. The Sangre's are a subrange of the Rocky Mountains. Mount Blanca boasts an impressive 4 of Colorado's 14,000 ft peaks and a fifth 14'er, Culebra Peak is visible behind the Wild Horse Mesa (seen in many of the photos here.) The Mesa is indeed home to some 150 or more wild horses. New Mexico's Ute Mountain was covered by clouds and snowfall the day these photos were taken, but would otherwise be seen from this property. Power lines are right across the road so if the new owner decides to build, there is another option other than solar. The fence in the photos is across the road from this property.
