It’s not too far from San Luis, the oldest town in Colorado, and has perfect views of the iconic Mount Blanca (which boasts 4 of Colorado’s world famous 14,000 ft peaks.) It’s a wonderful place to call your base camp as you drop down south to spend the day Taos, NM or head north and experience the Fort at the Fort Garland Museum or maybe a little further on to the Great Sand Dunes.
